Midas Gold Insurance, or MGI, is a separate wallet in the Midas Cronos system. MGI uses a Rebase Rewards-supporting algorithm that is funded by a percentage of the MGI wallet's buy and sell transaction fees. In summary, the MGI parameters support the rebase reward, which is distributed every 15 minutes at an interest rate of 0,025%, delivering a high and constant interest rate for token holders. The Midas Gold Insurance receives 5% of every transaction fees, which helps to sustain and support the rebase rewards.

The MGI protects holders by preventing flash collapses through price stability but also ensuring the Midas Cronos protocol's long-term viability and future expansion by significantly minimizing downside risk.
